lampson for congress

There was a cartoon the other day, where two men are in jail and one guy is explaining why he's in: "Turns out," he says, "my accounting system would only have been legal if I was in Congress." Ha ha, so funny. Unfortunately, so true. There's the whole Jack Abramoff scandal, and the probe into Tom DeLay's actions, including whether or not his push to redraw the district lines in Texas to favor Republicans was legal. Hmm, let me think...If it's not, it should be. So, with such heavy charges levied against him, this means the end of DeLay's career as a Congressman, right?

Not so much. He just won the March Primary for the 22nd district in Texas. By A LOT.

Bloody hell.
